Right after my architecture degree I was told that it generally takes 60 emails/ letter before one get an apprenticeship; and though I had hope to get one before that - I actually got mine after 59 emails!
Since, a lot has happened, and last year I was told - that as an illustrator - one needs to send 100 emails/ postcards ... before getting a book-deal! So, I recently created this 100 NO's LIST, to help anyone get motivated to send those follow-up emails and not get discouraged in between! I offer this for free; because though I personally need to kick my own butt (when it comes to sending emails) - I still believe that this is the best time for us, illustrator and artists to make a living from our art!
And, so ... here is me; reminding me that you are awesome, and that you art is freaking cool and that you should send more emails!! HAPPY HUNTING Yyall!
